लक्ष्यानि उद्देश्यानि च


संघस्य विज्ञापनानुसारं केन्द्रीयसंस्कृतविश्वविद्यालयस्य गुरुवायूरपरिसरस्य प्रमुखानि उद्देश्यानि संस्कृतशिक्षणं अनुसन्धानं च विकासं प्रापय्य प्रोत्साहयितुम्। एतत् सर्वेषां परिसरानाम् प्रबन्धनार्थं केन्द्रीय-प्रशासनिक-समन्वय-यन्त्ररूपेण अपि कार्यं करोति। भारतसर्वकारेण संस्कृतशिक्षायाः विकासाय विविधाः योजनाः, कार्यक्रमाः च निर्मिताः सन्ति, एतानि गुरुवायूरपरिसरस्य माध्यमेन कार्यान्वयने नयति। तस्य उद्देश्यसिद्ध्यर्थं योजनानां/ कार्यक्रमाणां च निष्पादनार्थम् एतानि कार्याणि उपक्रमते।

अध्यापकप्रशिक्षणं पाण्डुलिपिशास्त्रं च सहितं संस्कृतशिक्षणस्य सर्वासु शाखासु शोधकार्यं कर्तुं, सहायतां कर्तुं, प्रवर्तयितुं, समन्वयं कर्तुं, सन्दर्भसम्बद्धक्षेत्रेषु आधुनिकसंशोधनस्य परिणामेण सह अन्तरसम्बन्धं बहिः आनयितुं प्रकाशनानि च बहिः आनेतुं च योजनाऽस्ति।

  • देशस्य विभिन्नेषु भागेषु परिसराणाम् स्थापना, अधिग्रहणं, प्रशासनं च कर्तुं तथा च समानोद्देश्ययुक्तैः अन्यैः संस्थाभिः सह सम्बद्धं कर्तुं च योजनाऽस्ति।
  • स्थापितानां वा अधिग्रहीतानां वा सर्वेषां परिसराणाम् प्रबन्धनार्थं केन्द्रीयप्रशासनिकनियन्त्रकरूपेण कार्यं कर्तुं च योजनाऽस्ति।
  • Aims and Objectives


    As per the Memorandum of Association, the major objectives of Central Sanskrit University,Guruvayoor Campus are to propagate, develop and encourage Sanskrit learning and research. This also serves as central, administrative and coordinating machinery for the management of all Campuses. The Government of India has formulated various schemes and programmes for the development of Sanskrit education and is implementing these through Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan.

    For fulfillment of its objectives and execution of the schemes/ programmes of the Government, the Sansthan undertakes the following activities

  • To undertake, aid, promote, coordinate research in all branches of Sanskrit learning including teachers’ training and manuscriptology, to bring out inter- linkage with the outcome of modern research in the contextually relevant fields and bring out publications.
  • To establish, take over and administer Campuses in various parts of the country and to associate with any other institutions with similar objectives.
  • To serve as central administrative machinery for the management of all the Campuses established or taken over by and to provide effective coordination in their academic work in order to facilitate the interchangeability and migration of staff, students and research scholars and national division of work among the Campuses in specialized fields.
  • To act as nodal agency for Govt of India to implement their policies and programmes for the development of Sanskrit.
  • To provide instructions and training in such branches of learning as it may deem fit.
  • To facilitate research for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge.
  • To undertake extra mural studies, extension programmes and field outreach activities to contribute to the development of society.
  • To do all such other acts and things as may be necessary or desirable to further objectives of the institute.
  • To promote development of Pali and Prakrit languages.
