NAVYA VYAKARANA
The erst while Sanskrit College was converted into Gururvayoor Sahitya Deepika Sanskrit Vidyapeetha in 1973. There were two departments functioning Sahitya and Vyakarana. Faculty started functioning under the guidance of renowned Emeriates Professor N. D. Krishnanunny who was Head of the department of Vyarakarana. Later Emeritus Professors like Panditharajan K. Govindan Nambiar, Panditharajan D. Damodara Pisharoty, Prof. M. Govindan Nambiar, Prof. P. Raman, Prof. V. V. Ramachandra Iyyer and Prof. Neelakanthan Nambeesan etc adorned the department with their Valuable services.
